I recently had two fraxel restore treatments and waited for three months and see zero improvment in my pores. My doctor has suggested switching to the Pico Way laser which is much more expensive. I am skeptical because the first treatments this doctor recommended were totally ineffective, and because from what I can see Pico Way is a pigmentation treatment first and foremost.

Pigmentation after the initial clearance of brown spots could mean a post inflammatory hyperpigmentation. This can be treated, however you may need to reach out to your clinic for some depigmenting topicals. Make sure to wear sunscreen always, I would also recommend an oral sunscreen as well.
Hair will not go away with the PIcoway. When we do it and there are dark hairs, immediately, they may vaporize or plume but they will grow back as the heat is not high or long enough to damage the root or cuticle.
