I have asked my dermatologist and my oral surgeon this question. The oral surgeon says it's fine. However, my dermatologist recommends waiting until I have been off of Accutane for at least a month. So, now I am not sure what I should do as my wisdom teeth are bad enough to need to come out asap. Is it dangerous to have IV sedation while on Accutane? Should I stop a few days ahead of time or would that even make a difference? Thanks for your help.

I would say "no" because even if such shifting does occur it will be incomplete and far from desirable alignment. The odds are better when second molars are extracted and then wisdom teeth are erupting in their stead, bt even then it remains grossly unpredictable process. So better not to...

After a surgery take several weeks to it close at all so, don’t worry about it. Try to keep the area clean and doing the indication and recommendation the doctor give you.
