I had the plasma pen done and noticed she went around all of my deep wrinkles instead of directly in the wrinkle. Is this proper procedure? I couldnt find anything online and she told me that is how she was trained. I was under the impression it was to treat the wrinkles directly

Answer: Plasma pen administration - is it normal to go around the wrinkles instead of directly in?
Plasma pen can do a small amount of tightening, more in thin skin like eyelid. Radiofrequency with micro-needling is nonsurgical and will give more tightening.
Your best option would be to go to a cosmetic, not artistic, tattoo artist and get pigment placed back into the white areas. I would suggest at least two treatments, first adding a small amount of color. Also, go when you have no tan, perhaps in the winter.
Pigment left from plasma pen or any other treatment is usually from sun exposure to the area not yet healed. For pigment, there are several products that may help, chemical peels, and even laser treatments to remove the pigment.
