A doctor told me to get laser hair removal for 10 year folliculitis that is positive for staph (mrsa) and that didnt subside with systemic antibiotics. Topical antibiotics only eases them but they’ve pop up every day for 10 years. Will laser hair removal help because someone else said bacteria can stil live in the follicle and cause folliculitis if there is no hair? I did LHR 4 treatments and it calmed my skin for 3 days then they would pop up every day again. Would IPL work?
