Do I need jaw surgery or can Invisalign fix my bite? (photos)

It is important to get the correct Diagnosis for which you will need a Dental model that is mounted on an articulator (a dental device that mimics the way you move your jaw).  Your bite needs to be evaluated to see if your jaw joint is in the correct relationship when you close your teeth or if that is something that needs to be corrected.  When the jaw joint is in it's physiologic rest position there is greater stability in how teeth close.  This in turn can result in less chance of relapse of orthodontic treatment. A dentist trained in Occlusion can help you determine this. Hi, thanks for sending your question and pictures. It appears that you can have invisalign treatment to close the gaps and place the teeth in proper position. Jaw surgery can be avoided to help you. All the best.
