Invisalign is an orthodontic appliance, it will move teeth. In order to appreciably broaden or widen a smile you need an orthopedic appliance. The reason your smile is narrow is because your dental arch is narrow. The only way to appreciably widen your smile is to widen your dental arch; this again can only be done with an orthopedic appliance.Invisalign can upright tipped teeth which will create a VERY SLIGHTLY broader smile but in order to eliminate the black corridors in the corners of your mouth and give you a truly broad smile you must enlarge your dental arch. An orthopedic appliance is worn 12-17 hours per day and is adjusted every 3-5 days to slowly enlarge your dental arch and thus broaden your smile. Braces must be worn after widening the dental arch in order to properly align the teeth; this can often be accomplished with Invisalign.I hope this helps. Good luck!
