Will derma rolling after laser hair removal on face regrow hair?

I'm currently getting laser hair removal done on my face (4 sessions in). Will using a derma roller repair the hair follicles and cause regrowth of hair?

No, using a derma roller won't increase hair growth. Diode, alexandrite and yag lasers work best for hair removal. I typically have patients do every 4 weeks for the first 3 times and then every 4-6 weeks for 3 times after. See an expert in laser hair removal for best results. Best, Dr. Emer

Hello, thank you for your question.  The answer is No.  The derma roller is used to help stimulate collagen to tighten the skin, the hair follicles that have been destroyed previously by the laser treatments will not come back. Continue with your laser treatments and complete the course.Good Luck!
