Thank you for your question in regards to tattoo removal. Tattoo inks can be combined with titanium dioxide which can have this effect but should continue to fade/break down as treatments progress. To be sure what is best for you, see two or more board-certified providers in your area for a complete evaluation to make sure you are a good candidate and that it is safe for you to have treatment. I hope this helps.
Yes, this can be typical. Keep in mind, it will take several treatments to remove with laser tattoo removal. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Thanks for your question and posting a picture. That is how it is supposed to look. Your body is chewing up the ink. Colors will change has it fades. It looks like you are getting an excellent result after just one treatment. We suggest you wait 3-4 months between initial treatments. Best of luck, but it looks great.
Thank you for your question and the accompanying photos.Your green ink was probably compounded with titanium dioxide white, which oxidizes to that very familiar brown color, usually on the very first treatment. It is a common and expected result (I always suspect TiO2 lurking in light colors and prepare patients accordingly), and you can expect the brown to fade away nicely with continued treatment.Good luck!
