The laser hair removal will not cause you to get any bacterial or viral infection in your throat. The laser does not penetrate that deep.  It is just bad luck you got a throat infection right after hair removal.

Thank you for your question. I recommend having a follow up with your treating physician for an evaluation and treatment. However, you can treat this bacitracin ointment and it may take 1-2 weeks to heal. I hope this helps.

Can you still wax your upper lip if you're getting laser hair removal?

Thank you for your question. It is not recommended to wax or tweeze 3 weeks before laser hair removal treatment. This is because this removes the hair roots that is targeted by the laser. It is only recommended to shave before and between treatments. Best of Luck!
