How much time should I wait between CO2 laser treatments?

During fully ablative CO2 laser treatment the laser had an error and cutoff after just one pass. I was unable to get the full treatment. I’m scheduled for a second try 10 weeks after the first procedure. Is 10 weeks enough time? Are risks higher? I’m fair skinned, healthy, young and healing well. This is for deep scarring. I know it is a rare situation to be in. Any advice is appreciated.
