Migration of PDO threads and piercing through cheek - normal?

Hi I received Cheek PDO threads about a year ago. About week later, one of the threads migrated to my nose. I tried making an emergency appointment to see the provider because of the pain I was in, but they told me they didn’t have anything available. When I went in, they said that they had never seen this happen and that they were sorry. They poked a hole in my nose and pulled the thread out. The following week I had PDO thread pierce through my cheek to the inside of my mouth. Is that normal?
