The bond lasts for a while and eventually needs to be redone. Each time it is rebonded my teeth are moved apart very slightly. To have a permanent solution, I will need to get the bonding material off (how long does that take) braces need to bring them together and then two wires will fasten the two front teeth together. Can I do fast braces for this procedure, it seems like it would be more cost effective? BTW I am 63 yrs young.

Hello, without x-rays and more photos of your teeth it is impossible to tell if you are a candidate for braces.Do you still have baby teeth that they are waiting to come out perhaps get a second opinion from another orthodontist to see what they say.best of luck!
Since orthodontics is a treatment that has many repeat visits, certain steps depend on success of previous steps and future visits can be anticipated. Making some assumptions here, but it is likely that the crowded teeth need to move a little before a wire can be put on the bracket.
