Had band for 6/7 years. No problems till 6/2016. Vomiting so bad till blood then couldn't even drink fluids. Went to ER, did test,no slippage. Dr removed some fluid, did better so put more fluid back in band. Started same sypmtoms. Removed more fluid. Dr. did removal fluid/fluid back in 2 times. Finally took all fluids out. Did better, started gaining weight but could tell still couldn't eat certain foods/some vomiting. The episode explained above happened about 2 months after took all fluid out.

The first step is a full deflate of your band. An esophogram should also be done. You probably have a hiatal hernia which is contributing to your problems. Reflux refractory to medical management in the setting of a hiatus hernia may be covered by insurance.
