There is no restriction on treating multiple areas at one time. 3 machines or applicators would need to be available. It is necessary to be well-hydrated during your procedure. I would recommend you seek consultation by a plastic surgeon prior to committing to three areas of Coolsculpting. A Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who is experienced with liposuction can compare the costs, effectiveness and expected outcomes of each procedure. There may be significant benefit to liposuction depending on the area treated, amount of fat and skin thickness. Coolsculpting has proven to be very beneficial for the right candidate. Please call my office with any other questions.Thank you.
Coolsculpting is an excellent way to reduce fat from the arms, thighs, abdomen, love handles, and back. As board certified plastic surgeons, we are able to target the areas of fat that we usually treat with liposuction to give the best possible Coolsculpting results. Our patients get Coolsculpting on one area up to 8 areas in one day, depending upon their time schedules. Thanks for your questions! Dr. Schreiber, Baltimore Plastic Surgeon
Coolsculpting induces programmed cell death by selectively freezing fat cells. Each area to be treated requires 60 minutes on the machine. Three sites can be treated consecutively and safely on the same day. Dermatologists and Plastic Surgeons are qualified to perform this procedure, as it is non surgical.
You can treat 3 areas with coolsculpting just make sure you have a good breakfast or lunch because you will be in the room for 4 hours. Make sure you consult with a board certified dermatologist first.
There really isn't a restriction on how many areas can be treated at a single sitting. However laying still for more than 3 or 4 hours gets a bit daunting. Be sure to consult with a board certified plastic surgeon with experience in all possible treatments of your involved areas. That way you can make the best choice. Remember, if your only tool is a hammer, everything in the world looks like a nail.
