Can you go from a 38H to DD? 21 years old. Breast reduction/lift scars?

At size 38 each 200 grams of tissue corresponds
to 1 cup size change. You would require
600 grams removal to achieve a DD. I
recommend a new technique called The Ultimate Breast ReductionTM. This technique avoids the ugly vertical scars
of the traditional technique, maintains nipple sensation and the ability to
breast feed. The breasts are reshaped
creating upper pole fullness, elevated higher on the chest wall and more medial
to increase your cleavage. I do not

It sounds like you would be a very good candidate for breast reduction surgery. The procedure itself does remove a fair amount of your breast skin giving it a less saggy and lifted look. The amount of reduction is really something that you discuss with your plastic surgeon to decide what final size you would like to be. This would all be discussed during a consultation process. Your concerns about numbness and scarring are very valid. That would be something that I would definitely discuss during your consultation as you will have a scar, and there is a possibility of numbness depending on the way the procedure is done.

It sounds from your description that you are a candidate for a breast reduction. An exam in person would be essential. Scarring is usually very acceptable for most patients and long term numbness is not very common.

In most every plastic surgeon's office, the happiest group of patients are those that are going smaller.  THE RIGHT SIZE MATTERS.Once your weight has stabilized, you should visit with a plastic surgeon to see what he or she recommends.  You might need a reduction of the breast volume along with the tightening or simply a tightening of the skin (known as a mastopexy).Normally, the scars are very acceptable to patients who are undergoing these procedures, but they are indeed a trade-off.  We have many tools in our toolbox to deal with them if they do occur.Lastly, nipple sensation after the procedure is a possibility, but it is very rare in my practice.  More often, patients who are heavy-chested present with abnormal sensation already from stretching of the nerves.Best of luck!!!
