Answer: Laser or IPL Hair Removal in Patients with Bleeding Tendencies
Laser or IPL Hair Removal in Patients with Bleeding Tendencies may be performed, as long as your skin is healthy. The medications you are taking are making you more prone to bleeding from a cut or other trauma, however, IPL sources are not abrasive or create cuts on your skin. I would prefer IPL hair reduction, rather than lasers, in your case, because at times lasers may create blisters and other mild trauma to the skin. I would also ensure that the areas of skin you are treating are healthy, not fragile and thin. Discuss all these factors with your doctor prior to initiating light source-assisted hair removal.

Answer: Laser Hair Removal
I would not recommend it. It would be best discussed with your Hematologist as he/she knows your history best.

Answer: Laser Hair Removal and ITP
I would feel comfortable treating you with laser hair removal. This procedure does not induce clotting, and there is no contra-indication for use of these lasers in people with clotting disorders. Of course, it is always reasonable to discuss with your treating hematologist prior to any procedure-- but I don't see any cause for concern.
