Bumps on skin after tattoo removal session? Will it go away?

I'm in the process of getting my tattoo's on my arm removed, one is not reacting nearly as well as the other so I'm just focusing on the one that is going away. Anyway, after 6 sessions now, I noticed my skin has "bumps" its not a smooth texture. Is this normal? I'm receiving treatment with picosure.

Hello,If you are experiencing changes with the texture of your skin after the skin has completely healed after tattoo laser treatment, it may be that the treatments are too aggressive.  The goal of a good laser tattoo removal experience is to remove the ink without causing scarring or textural changes to the skin.  Waiting longer between treatments may also help.  We suggest you have your practitioner comment on these changes and concerns.Regardless of the technology being used - The one who is performing the treatment, and the approach they take, is far more important.Regards.

This is difficult to answer without pictures. White bubbles can be typical after laser tattoo removal and will fade with time. It will take a series of treatments for removal. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a laser tattoo removal expert. Best, Dr. Emer

It is difficult to answer this question without seeing your skin (in a picture but especially in person).  This could be normal or a sign of impending scarring.  I would highly recommend you discussing this with your provider.  If you want to get a second opinion, then seek a physician's practice that is well trained and experienced with tattoo removal and treating the skin.  Hope this helps!
