Can a camera flash damage your eyes two days after Lasik?

I had Lasik on Friday and Sunday evening my sister accidentally took a family photo using an iPhone with flash. Since then I’ve had flashes in my left eye, which has always had a larger pupil than my right eye. It feels the way your eyes usually feel immediately after taking a photo with flash, but this has now been going on for two days. Could the flash have caused damage to my eye? Will it get better?

Answer: No evidence that LASIK makes you more susceptible to flash injury.
