I had a Free Flap TRAM 16 years ago (bilat). I believe I cracked or maybe even broke a rib(s) a couple weeks ago which explains the chest soreness I have had although I continue to have severe pain in my breasts most especially in the aureola. Not having a lot of sensation in my breasts at all normally has caused me to be concerned about feeling such intense pain ever since my accident. Could this be something other than damaged ribs and contusions?

Low-grade fever with high leukocyte count are concerning and indicate possible infection. You should closely follow-up with your plastic surgeon and look out for any swelling, pain, and/or redness of the breasts.
