A doctor recommended PDO threads to lift my cheeks and eyebrows. I read threads can lead to granulomas. Are they safe? (Photo)

I basically would like to avoid fillers since I have a ready full cheeks, so threads seem to lift without adding volume and that's what I need but I'm scared of the complications.
