I have had braces for 2 years and today I got them removed as as my orthodontist said you are good to go. But my upper teeth are flared outwards and I don't like it , it feels bad . What should I do ?

Dear Manfred the asymmetry cannot be caused by the sleeping position. We think the reason for your asymmetry is unilateral chewing. Muscles are empowered, and it may cause this imbalance. Please eat bilaterally. If you have bruxism, please start to use a night guard.
Picture is inadequate but it appears you have a very narrow maxilla which is an orthopedic problem. I would suggest looking into Epigenetic Orthopedics to three dimensionally expand your maxilla to allow room for a full wide smile.
Avoid amputating healthy teeth for crowding. The issue is an underdeveloped maxilla, not too many teeth.
