How to fix my small smile? (photos)

Question

Ever since I was little I have smiled with my mouth closed because it stretches my lips so much when I smile with an open mouth, it’s uncomfortable. I also had to have 4 of my adult teeth permanently removed just to make room for the rest of my teeth in my small mouth. Can anything be done to help me have a nice comfortable smile with teeth? I love those smiles where you can even see a tiinny bit of top gum, but when I smile you can barely see half my top teeth!

Hi:You have a nice smile, and form the pictures it appears that you can not widen or lengthen it.  You might just want to consider whitening as a possible cosmetic procudure that is available to you.Best,Dr. Maddahi

You don’t say how old you are or whether you have had orthodontic treatment before, although it sounds as if you may have. I think your smile looks good but I really don’t have enough information to make specific recommendations. 
  
My only suggestion would be to have a consultation with a board certified orthodontist to see what options you have.
