Obviously, you have a feminine face and the desire to look more feminine and attractive to the opposite sex is natural. The hallmark of a feminine versus a masculine face can be enumerated going from bottom to top. Women have a less angulated & prominent jawline; fuller, poutier lips; a smaller, upturned delicate nose; high cheekbones; seemingly more defined eyes with crisper creases; higher arched eyebrows and a more convex forehead with lower anterior hairline. So in your case, I would suggest a reductive rhinoplasty, perhaps some slight degree of lip augmentation and maybe even a slight degree of cheek augmentation with fillers.
Hello,You have a nice face. While there are many things that can be done to give a more feminine appearance, I would focus on what it is you like and what it is you would like to change. A consultation with a plastic surgeon can help you define this as well. You two should be able to sit in front of a mirror together and come up with a plan. All the best in your journey,Dr. BlaggAustin, TX
You are a very pretty woman. Specifically you have nice eyes and a sharp lower 1/3rd of your face. This is key. With some augmentation of the lateral malar (cheek bone) area and a more harmonious transition from the eye to the cheek (tear trough area) your face would take on that more heart shaped look that is associated with beauty. It would allow people to focus on your eyes. Your brows are in a good position with the peak just lateral to the most lateral portion of the iris (colored portion of eyeball). This can be emphasized by giving the appearance of a mat (reference to framing paintings) with fat transfer. Again the key is to have the focus drawn to your eyes and not shadows surrounding them. The autofat transfer allows us to smoother transition of facial subunits to diminish shadows and hallows. Bets of luck,DrC
Hi N, The lower 1/3 of your nose draws attention away from the rest of your face. You most likely have your Dad's nose, which is giving you the perception that you would like to appear more feminine. I would recommend a rhinoplasty and leave the rest of your pretty face alone. The other minor feature would be to add a little more arch to the lateral 1/3 of your eyebrow with properly placed Botox or Dysport. Good luck and be well. Dr. P
Your face is already feminine, but would look more refined with a rhinoplasty to thine the tip as well as any other parts of your nose that don't show on this one picture. Make sure you see an experienced rhinoplasty surgeon whose results you like and speak with their live patients.
This is a very dangerous question to ask in a plastic surgery forum as you may "flaws" pointed out that you were not even aware of. In my opinion, you are an attractive woman, but, even models often seek improvement of their appearance. If I were to be absolutely critical, I would say you would benefit from botox of the lines on the outer aspect of your eyes (crows feet). If these do not bother you, leave them. You may benefit from nasal tip refinement which would feminize your nose. Most importantly, be confident. both men and women appreciate the beauty of confidence. Good luck!
You have hit on an issue which many do not realize. There are subtle changes to every woman's face as she ages which make the face look more masculine over time. To look feminine is also to look youthful. I consider every procedure I do to remove signs of aging as a facial feminization procedure. You, of course, are very feminine-looking already, but I understand a few things that you may subconsciously be pointing to. First, the tip of your nose is rotated a little too far down. This sometimes happens with smiling, so it would be difficult to judge this based on only one photo. I would narrow and lift your nasal tip which would give a natural and feminine-looking nose. Your upper lip has also started to elongate and thin which is also a more masculine feature as we age. A lip lift and augmentation is a good option for this. Other simple ways of feminizing your face would all allow more light to reflect off of your eyes including using a hyaluronic acid filler like Restylane silk under your eyes and Voluma in your cheeks to add more fullness. It is common to undergo rhinoplasty to feminize and refine the nose so that it balances with itself and facial features. Rhinoplasty can reduce any bulbousness of the nasal tip, remove any nasal humps, and realign the dorsal esthetic lines and can narrow bridge lines in order to make the nose more symmetrical and balanced. It is also important to maintain an excellent airway.
Your request to look more feminine could lead you into a mindfield of trouble. If you just show your face in a photo I can guarantee you that the majority of people looking at it will say that is a feminine face. If you go ahead with any surgery even if you have a good result there is a significant chance you will not be happy because the parameter for judging the result have not been clearly set up in your mind before surgery. It is much better if you go in to surgery with the mindset of removing crow's feet, smoothing out hollows under the eyes or changing specific aspects of the nasal tip shape etc. That way you will have something by which to judge the result after surgery and thereby be happy with your surgery after the fact. That is not the case for every woman but judging from the photos applies to you.
I first would have to know if you are a genetic male or female . Based on this one picture it would appear that no major bony or soft tissue modifications would make you look more feminine other than for a rhinoplasty. Since hair is a big part of my practice, I might assume that your hair is styled in a way to hide a male pattern hairline or even early pattern hair loss. If such is the case attention should be directed to feminizing your hairline . Hormone therapy ( if you are a male to female transgender) and certain surgical procedures can accomplish this.
Facial feminization surgery requires addressing both the soft tissues components of the face as well as the bony facial skeleton in order to achieve a more balanced, feminine face. Soft tissue feminization may include performing a facelift, forehead/brow lift, and lip augmentation with...
If you are generally healthy, this is a safe and acceptable approach. I agree that it is preferable to perform breast surgery first, before facial feminization surgery (FFS), because you want to avoid being re-intubated and having anesthesia providers apply pressure to your face after FFS...
To help balance your facial profile, you may consider rhinoplasty and either genioplasty to advance the chin and lengthen the jawline, or chin implants for a similar effect. I would suggest avoiding a full facelift at your age; however, a neck lift or non-surgical neck-tightening treatments may...
