Answer: Incomplete smile You may be right, but not how you mean. If doing a smile makeover, all teeth that show is the best approach (8-10 teeth). This allows you to choose a color you like or want. If doing only 4, then you should make them match the color of the other teeth. Choosing an experienced dentist that only uses the best labs makes a big difference as well, as some labs lack the skills to make natural looking restorations.

Answer: I feel like I made a bad choose having veneers on front teeth? There are some general "rules of thumb" that many experienced cosmetic dentists will use when they recommend a particular number of porcelain veneers. If you choose to do the front 1, 2 or 4, dentists usually recommend matching all the other adjacent teeth, because most patients show anywhere from 8 to 12 upper teeth when they smile. My guess is that you only did a few veneers, and either you or your dentist did not choose a color that matched your other teeth. If the patient does at least 8 teeth then the patient and dentist can select a color that is whiter without worrying about the issue of contrasting colors.Did your dentist have this conversation with you? Who chose how many teeth to do? Who chose the color? Did you have the opportunity to see the veneers on your teeth prior to the dentist bonding them into place? You might be interested in reading this web link below that has a number of articles that discuss how many teeth to do, showing before and after examples.
