Hi there, I would suggest waiting 4-6 weeks for the swelling and inflammation to resolve before undergoing a threadlift procedure , so as not to affect the efficacy of the threads.
Thank you for your question. I would wait at least a month before having a thread lift. Please consult your provider. For more information, I recommend getting a in person consultation with a board-certified dermatologist.
Generally, patients should wait about six weeks before undergoing any type of treatment following a procedure. I would also speak with your surgeon regarding the proper timeframe. Best of luck.
Thank you for your question. I would defer to the surgeon who performed your fat transfer. If you go on to have another procedure without first discussing it with him/her and have any problems, it will be difficult to assess whether it was due to the fat transfer or the threading procedure. Once your surgeon gives their blessing to proceeding, the fat transfer should be well established. If I were seeing you in my office, I would suggest waiting at least 6 weeks so that any residual swelling has resolved and some rejuvenation from the regenerative cells in the fat matrix have begun to work.I hope this was helpful - Dr. Moore.

Without an in-person evaluation, it is difficult to tell if you had a threadlift gone wrong. However, I would follow-up with your surgeon to discuss your issue, since it may be due to swelling or improper placement of threads. Best of luck!
Thank you for your question. A thread lift is a minimally invasive procedure that is able to target the deeper layers of skin on a patient’s face and neck. The procedure uses absorbable sutures that lift and tighten the skin and stimulate collagen as they dissolve over time. Results will c...
