I had a crown put on maybe 2 years ago and recently there had been some swelling up towards the root of the tooth (like a hard bump) and then last week the crown fell off. So I went to the dentist and she prescribed amoxicillin and referred me to and endodontrics office- but the apt with them isn’t for another month! I feel like I have to cover up this tooth with the crown in the meantime but am worried it might make the infection worse. Can I? Or should I just suck it up.
