Threads should never be left poking out of the skin. From your description, it is likely that the end of the thread got caught when passing through the skin. With the facial movements, it can start protruding. Your doctor will be able to snip off the end of the thread, so you must let him/her know about it and go back to the clinic to correct this issue.
If the thread was not poking out at the time of the procedure, it must have moved during facial movements or manipulation are your part. The provider should see it and determine the best next step.
Hello, and thank you for your question. Following a thread lift, swelling, bruising and puckering can all occur. Most of these side effects will improve within a week. If you are concerned about your healing process and results, I would recommend speaking with your surgeon. Best of luck!

Hi there. My recommendation is to not waste your time with a thread lift for your concern. Bodytite is great option for your concern and will give you lasting benefit.
