After a glycolic acid peel, how can I treat and prevent scars? (photos)

I strongly recommend scheduling a consultation with a board-certified cosmetic dermatologist who can help you prevent permanent scarring. I also recommend having all facial treatments with this dermatologist. 70% glycolic acid can be dangerous, even in the hands of an expert. This should not be applied at home. In my practice we have over 45 lasers that we use in combination with other treatment modalities, such as microneedling and chemical peels, to customize treatment plans for the unique needs of each of our patients. Your swelling and redness should subside within a week. You should also ensure that you are using a broad-spectrum sunscreen every day to help prevent your condition from worsening.

Hopefully by now things are well on their way to healing, but 70% glycolic acid is a very strong peeling agent and often results in deeper skin injury than you were intending.  I would recommend following up with your board certified dermatologist who can help you with any acne or skin condition, rather than resorting to dangerous at-home treatments which might leave you with scarring.   Please see an expert and best of luck!
