What should we do before switching laser to electrolysis?

I’ve get 12 session of laser done for my face without any good results, it even gets worse. Now I’m thinking to switch the laser to electrolysis, is this a good idea? And is it true that i have to wait several months then start it ? if there is anything that we need to know before changing it could you please tell us Appreciate your advice.
