Morpheus8/Co2 laser combo treatment advice?

Question

33 yr old female; post weight-loss skin laxity to chin/jaw/neck and atrophic acne scarring on cheeks/temples. I plan to have Morpheus8 to address the skin laxity and Co2 laser for the scarring. Would it be OK to combine the two treatments to address both concerns simultaneously? Unfortunately they will be in different clinics so the full face & neck Morpheus8 is scheduled 3 days before the half face CO2, would this be OK?

It is difficult to precisely define the best option without collecting the same information. Both technologies work gorgeously, nevertheless its crucial for both of your practitioners to know what your goals are and what your plan is. Both procedures work on different layers of the skin, and solve different problems, but it is still possible for a practitioner to ask for a little time in between both treatments. It all depends on the practitioners specific treatment plan with you.

Hello, thank you for your question!You can combine both Morpheus 8 and CO2 treatments in the same session to treat the laxity and for the scarring but I wouldn't recommend to do it in different clinics, since both treatments can work in the same layer of the skin, the excess of heat applied to the skin can lead to scarring , burning or hyperpigmentation. If you choose to do both at the same time we would recommend you to do it with a physician that has experience with both technologies.
