What can I do about my veneers that are too big, wide and long? (Photos)

Hi there! It's important to communicate what you see and how you feel to your dentist ASAP! Temporaries typically mimic the final results.  While you are in the temps, you can have them adjusted to your liking, and then build the permanents from there.  In some cases the temporaries will have to be completely redone.  Keep in mind the temporaries will look and feel bulkier than the permanent veneers, but for shape and size, you definitely want to make sure that you are generally happy with it. Also make sure you get to see the veneers inside of your mouth BEFORE they are permanently cemented so that you can make sure you are happy with them! 

One of the functions of temporary veneers is to give you a preview of the final result.  It is easy to modify the shape and form of a temporary.  This is much more difficult to do once the final veneers are in place.  The teeth must be a certain size to occupy the space that is available for them but tweeks to the contours can create a more delicate look if that is what you want.  I would call your dentist, tell him/her about your concerns, and have the temps reshaped to be as close to what you want and what is possible.  This can be communicated to the lab so they can copy that shape in you final veneers.  I hope that helps.  Don't delay ... try to catch the lab before they start fabrication of your veneers.

Hello,you must tell your dentist that you are not comfortable with your smile.The veneers can wear and polish but have a limit.If your naural denture is large then the veneers will be large. The best thing to do is to remove them and redo them, not being so white so they do not stand out. however, veneers increase the size of your teeth, if they are large to 0.05mm or 1mm maximum
