those ads i see for laser eye whitening for some reason dont look very safe to me, as i cant find any studies or research done on said procedure, just to lessen them as much as possible really.

You should visit an ophthalmologist and have them look at your eyes before the assistant gives you drops. There are many causes of red eyes so the fix depends on the exam.Being pro-active with preservative free or dis-appearing preservative drops 4 times a day ( not just when you feel like putting them in) is a good first step before seeing the doctor.The redness relievers we have had for the last few decades aren't great for long term use and you may become dependent on them. In the US, Lumify ( very low concentration Brimonidine) works really well and is over the counter. Using the prescription strength, Brimonidine used for glaucoma isn't a good idea for this purpose.
