Is slight bruising normal after laser hair removal? (Photos)

I had laser hair removal done on my lower legs for the second time yesterday and it hurt really bad. The first time I had it done I didn't notice any results so it was turned up a bit more this time. Late yesterday I noticed what looks like some bruising developing. I'm just wondering if this is normal?

Each practitioner will have their preferred laser.  However, I recommend you use laser such as the Diode, alexandrite and yag laser for optimal results. It will take a series of treatments and some people need treatments to maintain. See an expert for a formal evaluation. Best, Dr. Emer

Thank you for the photo that really helps me answer your question appropriately.  I agree with the other panelist that Laser Hair removal itself does not alleviate the KP.  A treatment that will really help is ammonium lactate or lac hydrin that is far cheaper.  To reduce redness...

Hello , Small marks can be possible after HRL , usually go away within few days , without picture is hard to assess .
