My front teeth are two different lengths. What are my options?? (photo)

My wisdom teeth came in and started crowding my teeth and started pushing the left from tooth up! I have now had my wisdom teeth removed. I kind of made my mind up and saved for braces but am being told I don't need to do somthing that extreme? What is your option. What are my options???

Not seeing what the situation is for the back teeth, if it is localized to the front teeth then an option would be of a functional appliance to help correct the crossbite.
