biggest problem is my asthma there are times I am talking and run out of breath(scary). I take my nebulizer to sleep well. Also can never have a good night sleep when i sleep on my back i feel so much pressure on my chest and when i sleep on my stomach i wake up with extreme lower back pain. With being a nurse it is hard for me to take off from work the most I can try to get off is 9-10 days at most would that be enough time to recover knowing if I do return I can not lift for 6-8 weeks??

Yes, asthma is a co-morbidity that improves considerably with obesity surgery.  Your BMI is high enough to get approve for the sleeve with or without co-morbidities.  The sleeve is a good procedure and works well for patient with low BMI such as your self.  You will be happy with the sleeve.

hello.Yes you are candidate. Asthma is a condition that will improved after weight loss and bariatric surgery for sure. I dont know if your insurance will cover the surgery but you can do it private in other especialize bariatric practice in the US or other countries like mine Dominican Republic medical tourism trip.Good luck in this journey and try to contact your insurance company to see if they will help.
