1 mths post op Microkeratome lasik, my problems include: Eye Floaters, under correction, horrible night vision. Is this normal?

Floaters have not been known to be a
side effect of LASIK, even considering the use of the suction ring. Myopic patients are at much higher risk
of getting floaters spontaneously, and myopic patients tend to have LASIK.

Floaters don’t disappear over time,
but often your brain tends to get used to them and even filter them out of your
vision. But not always. If your floaters are severe and
debilitating, there are surgical procedures available to remove them, but these
procedures are substantial and not without risk.

Enhancement with LASIK generally
involves lifting the flap and applying more laser. No microkeratome is used. Recovery of vision is typically the same whether a
mechanical keratome or femtosecond laser is used to create the flap.

Development of vitreous floaters after LASIK surgery is extremely unusual, in fact in over 40,000 cases I can't think of a single patient who developed this problem following surgery. As long as they are unassociated with retinal findings your symptoms should slowly improve as the floaters coalesce and float to the bottom of your eye. No suction ring is required in order to perform LASIK revision procedures, therefore, it is unlikely that re treatment will create any additional floaters.
