i have like two gaps on my teeth and i was wondering whether or not i would get braces. ive had braces for 6 months already and no visable movement

The appearance of gaps between your teeth may be due to the angulation of your teeth, rather than actual space between your teeth. It may be possible for your orthodontist to place some bends in the wire to change the angulation and minimize the appearance of gaps. Your upper central incisors appear tapered towards the edge, so that they are wider towards the gums than they are towards the edge. Teeth that have this tapered shape make spaces more noticeable, which is why some orthodontic wire bending may compensate for this appearance. Discuss with your orthodontist.
