Fraxel (non-ablative) is pretty safe on the skin. Im not sure why you got the marks that have not healed even a yr later. however, something like this can be made better. without seeing you its hard to tell exactly what treatment will give you the best outcome but it will most likely be a combination of a few procedures. best would be to seek advise in person.

I suggest going to a cosmetic dermatologist who sees a lot of laser complications.  There are options such as microneedling, PRP, Clear + Brilliant and fractional RF (sublative or viva) that can give improvement where laser in the past has caused problems.  skin care with sun protection will also be essential.  Do not compromise your care for cost or distance.  Best, Dr. Emer.
