I consulted a dentist for a cavity in my molars. I asked whether my teeth are too yellow and she said my enamel is naturally thin which is why my dentin makes my teeth seem to be yellow. I want to know what options do i have to improve my teeth colour, apart from veneers.

Your dentist is correct. If your teeth appear yellow because of naturally thin enamel, the underlying dentin color is showing through. Unfortunately, there is no treatment available to permanently increase enamel thickness. While whitening may offer limited improvement, it cannot fully mask the dentin color. For a significantly whiter and more predictable result, veneers remain the most effective treatment option.
