I visited a dentistry clinic in Delhi to have a veneer rebonded. The dentists - without taking any x rays - told me that my teeth were better suited to crowns. I had no decay/damage, my teeth were in good health. They said I need crowns because of my bite and that intentional root canal treatment is necessary before crowns; that it is accepted practise. I agreed and they did elective RCT on all SIX teeth within a span of 2 hours. Are rct's done before crowns? Would any dentist recommend this?
