Can I use bakuchiol after a microneedling procedure?

I have heard that you can not use retinol after micro needling, but what about the natural retinol alternative called bakuchiol? When I used to use retinol, it damaged my face, but bakuchiol never did and does wonders for my face.

Post-Microneedling Care: After microneedling, your skin is in a sensitive and healing state. It is typically recommended to avoid potentially irritating products, including retinoids, until your skin has fully recovered. However, since bakuchiol is less likely to cause irritation, it may be used more safely than traditional retinol.

Recommendation: It’s still important to approach post-procedure care with caution. I recommend waiting at least 48 to 72 hours after microneedling before reintroducing products like bakuchiol. Monitor your skin’s response and start with a patch test before applying it to your entire face. If you notice any irritation or discomfort, discontinue use and consult with your dermatologist.
