I had a VI Peel performed 5 days ago. Is it safe to resume Tri-Luma, at the end of the healing process, to further lighten pigmented areas? How long before I can resume my compound (fluocinolone acetonide 0.01% hydroquinone 4% tretinoin 0.05%)

Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, you do not want to "speed" the process of peeling because your skin needs to take its own time to remove the dead skin and heal. Usually, the peeling is worse the first few days then gradually will lessen, but the whole process may take 1-2 weeks....
Yes - you can shower the same day after a VI Peel, but avoid running your face under extremely hot water! We recommend washing your face prior to showering with the instructions given to you in your take home kit, and showering your body only
You should never pick at or peel your skin during a chemical peel. It will create problems such as scarring, hyper-pigmentation, or redness. You may need to do the peel again to correct it.
