Question

And will deep scaling leave gaps in my teeth? I have really bad decay on the bottom of my teeth i also have a gap in between my bottom two front teeth which I hate I haven't been able to afford dental care and I'm embarrassed and I hate to smile because my teeth are so bad.

I would suggest deep cleaning asap. Then your dentist can reevaluate what needs to be done to help you save your teeth. Good luck.

You need to deep cleaning before anything else is done. You need to treat your gum disease by removing all of the build up. Otherwise, you're putting yourself at risk of losing your teeth. You most likely will have some gaps once all of the build up is removed. But what would you rather? Teeth with gaps or a future without teeth?
