I am a female looking to fill in my hairline recessions with hair transplants. If I have the hair transplant procedure, how long should I wait before having another non related surgery involving general anesthesia? I have been told general anesthesia can cause temporary hair loss, could this affect newly transplanted hair?

Answer: It would be best to clear your surgery with your surgeon if you have concerns about anesthesia and hair loss.
