Acne after microbrasion HELP!!! I got a microbrasion facial done in April. I’ve always had clear skin it was really rare if I would even get a pimple ever since I got the facial my face has broken out like crazy I have so many bumps in my face and acne on my forehead, cheeks near my jawline. Is this normal? I’m kinda worried cause it seems to be getting worse. Will it go away or how can I get rid of it?

Thank you for your question! That is completely normal, Microdermabrasion helps stimulate oils in the skin after a treatment and bring everything out to the surface, if you already had some active acne in the skin I would suggest waiting till the blemishes are controlled. Ask your provider to possibly do a light chemical peel after you have had your treatment, this will help control the break outs. Best of Luck!
