Will Chewies Cause a Problem If swallowed ?

I use the chewies as directed by my orthodontist and sometimes when I feel the need to bite my aligners, I have come close to swallowing them once or twice and was wondering if they would cause me any harm if i did. I googled Styrene Copolymer and was unable to find out if it was a ok to consume by accident. This seems to be a common question but I have been unable to find an answer. Thank You
