What is the price range of a forehead lift? Does this procedure cost less or more than a full face lift?

The cost of a forehead lift varies depending on several factors:

Other procedures- If the forehead lift is in conjunction with a facelift or blepharoplasty or other procedure, expect the cost of the forehead lift price to be reduced

  • Type of Browlift- A hairline lowering browlift procedure is much more intensive than a lateral brow lift in office procedure. The type of browlift will determine the cost of the lift.
  • Fixation Method- Some fixation devices for browlift are costly and can add $1000 or more to the procedure. Other fixation methods cost $0. Surgeons will chose the fixation method that delivers the best result.
  • Operative Setting- Most browlift approaches are performed with either IV sedation or general anesthesia. Lateral browlifts can be performed in the office setting.
  • Geography- Certain areas of the country the price varies tremendously due to local factors such as cost of office, staffing etc.

In general, the cost of a browlift is between $2000-$6000 based on the above factors.

Thank you for your question.  A forehead lift is normally less than a face/neck lift.

Each surgeon’s fees will be different depending on many factors.  Factors such as the certification of the surgeon, the experience of the surgeon, if the surgery is performed in the office or in a hospital / outpatient surgery center, if performed under local anesthesia or general anesthesia and who is administering the anesthesia.  Don’t choose your surgeon ONLY by price, make sure they can achieve your goals.

A range would be $6000-$8000.

I hope this helps.

A forehead lift is definitely less costly than a Facelift, primarily because it can be performed more quickly.  Cost will vary based on the approach (Endoscopic versus Trichophytic) and in the region of the country in which you live.  If performed with other procedures, a multiple procedure discount is usually given; if performed in isolation, it will cost between $5000-$7500 in SW Florida.

The cost of a forehead lift versus a facelift is much less. There are different types of forehead lifts or brow lifts and I typically do an endoscopic lift with very small incisions and many times this is done in conjunction with a facelift. The approximate fees range between $4000.00 to $6000.00 while a facelift range is between $8000.00 to $10,000.00. when the procedures are done in conjunction with each other then the fees for both are typically reduced. These fees include the anesthesia, accredited operating facility and surgeon fees.

Plastic Surgery Pricing varies signficantly depending on geographic location and the expertise of the surgeon. The forehead lift tends to range between $4000 - $8000. It is frequently done in conjuncton with a facelift but the cost (by itself) is less than a full facelift.

Patients today have many options to change the shape and position of their forehead and eyebrows. Many techniques can be performed very small incisions that are well hidden in the hairline.
The cost of your procedure will depend on the technique that is used to correct the forehead, the amount of time that is necessary for the surgery, and the setting of the surgery itself.
In our practice, we commonly perform this procedure either through an endoscopic approach that will leave tiny 1 cm incisions hidden in your hair or through a small incision directly behind your hairline. This allows an effective lift of the forehead and brow with small incisions that are very well tolerated.

Forehead lift usually performed in combination

The costs of a brow lift is determined by the technique used and whether or not it is performed in combination with other facial procedures. I usually perform a endoscopic brow lift in combination with an endoscopic mid-facelift. This procedure is performed on patients in their 30's to 60's. When procedures are performed in combination on the same area of the body I usually discount the secondary procedure. The costs for the brow-lift can range from $6000 to $12000.
