I only want this done around my mouth, chin and upper lip. No cheeks, eyes or forehead. What should I expect to pay?
Answer: Fractional lasers for chin and mouth areas
the cost for Fractional resurfacing lasers depends on several factors, most importantly, the qualifications of the physicians, the office location, the type of device that will be used, and the patient's expectations. my advice to patuients like yourself is to get the whole face treated as the cost is the same in my office whether I do a selected area on the face or the full head and neck and upper chest. the reason is because after these laser procedures u will get improvement in skin color and texture, which if not blended in the surrounding areas can give u a demarcation line and that can be quite obvious (sometimes)

Answer: Costs can range anywhere from $800 to $1,000 depending on the type of treatment deemed best for you. Fractional laser is an amazing and highly effective treatment in our office. We use the laser treatment to help with acne scars, large pores, fine wrinkles, tissue collagen loss, scars, sebaceous hyperplasia, active acne, and for brightening dark pigmentation. Although there are very strong fractional lasers such as CO2 laser, we use lighter treatments for corrective skincare and maintenance of results. Our Thulium fractional laser, clear and brilliant laser, and Ultra Thulium laser are excellent options in our clinic. We also perform CO2 fractional and erbium depending on skin tone and tolerance for downtime. Patients do have to use a Melarase cream before and after treatment to help further reduce pigmentation after laser. Melarase AM, Melarase PM, and Melapads can seriously improve surface sun damage and UV related pigmentation. Dark spots can improve with these treatments. I recommend fractional laser for incisional scars as well, especially after plastic surgery. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Mixto™ CO2 fractional laser facial for fine lines Thank you for your question. Many patients share your sensibility that it would be best to focus a resurfacing treatment on just the skin areas of concern. It does make sense for some skin procedures, like when a lesion is removed for biopsy. However, the profound effect a fractional laser can have on the color, tone and texture of the skin must be considered when planning treatment of the face. Imagine what you might see in the mirror if the area that was treated is smoother, brighter and tighter than the surrounding skin. Would you be happy with the overall result? That having been said, depending on your skin type, your Doctor may discuss sparing certain areas from treatment, as long as the overall result will be symmetric and pleasing. The cost for an abbreviated area of treatment might be a percentage of a “full” treatment or based on time; yet the price will likely include operational costs that keep a “half of the face” treatment from being priced at just 50% of a “full face.” An example for illustration would be a “full face” treatment priced $3000 allowing for a “half face” treatment to be priced at $2000. Like many Doctors who are excited by the results we can achieve with CO2 fractional laser, I prefer to do the whole face at least once prior to discussing a second treatment in a smaller area of focus.
