How long after a Ptosis repair would I be allowed to use contact lens?

 My doctor(not the surgeon) told me that it would take 3 months until I could. But the internet saids 2 weeks . Her argument is that the contact lens would Ame the Ptosis recur. I’m on day 7 Thank you
