V30 for acne scarring in skin types IV-VI?

I’m 23, male, with dark skin and dealing with acne scars. I’ve heard about the V30 laser and want to know if it’s safe and effective for skin types IV to VI. Is there a risk of discoloration or other side effects for someone with my skin tone?
